Carlotta is an unincorporated community in Humboldt County, California.[1] It is located 6.5 miles (10.5 km) southeast of Fortuna,[2] at an elevation of 131 feet (40 m),[1] about 5 miles (8.0 km) east of US Route 101 on California State Route 36.
