    Saucier, Mississippi

    Saucier is a census-designated place (CDP) in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. It is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,342 at the 2010 census.[1]

    As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 1,303 people, 478 households, and 367 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 186.2 people per square mile (71.9/km²). There were 507 housing units at an average density of 72.4/sq mi (28.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.47% White, 0.69% African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.23% Asian, 0.15% Pacific Islander, 0.15% from other races, and 1.15% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.38% of the population.

    There were 478 households out of which 38.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.8% were married couples living together, 9.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.2% were non-families. 16.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
