    Lava Hot Springs is a city in Bannock County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the Pocatello, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area'.     As of the census[2] of 2010, there were 407 people, 209 households, and 104 families residing in the city. The population density was 598.5 inhabitants per square mile (231.1/km2). There were 317 housing units at an average density of 466.2 per square mile (180.0/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 97.5% White, 0.2% African American, 0.2% Native American, 1.2% from other races, and 0.7% from two or more races.
