    According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2), of which 1.6 square miles (4.1 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) (3.51%) is water.

    As of the census[6] of 2000, there were 169 people, 74 households, and 52 families residing in the village. The population density was 102.3 people per square mile (39.5/km²). There were 77 housing units at an average density of 46.6 per square mile (18.0/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.41% White and 0.59% African American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.78% of the population.

    There were 74 households out of which 24.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.6% were married couples living together, 1.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.4% were non-families. 28.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
