    Forbes is a city in Dickey County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 53 at the 2010 census.[5] Forbes was founded in 1905. The town was named after Mr. S. F.     There were 29 households of which 13.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.3% were married couples living together, 3.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 44.8% were non-families. 41.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
