    Braden, Tennessee

    As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 271 people, 104 households, and 79 families residing in the town. The population density was 71.2 people per square mile (27.5/km²). There were 109 housing units at an average density of 28.6 per square mile (11.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 91.14% White, 7.01% Black or African American, 0.37% Native American, and 1.48% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.37% of the population.
