Sterlington is a town in northern Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States, near the boundary with Union Parish. The population was 1,276 at the 2000 census. At the 2010 census, the population was 1,594. In 2013 census estimates, the population rose to 1,889, an increase of 228 persons or 13.7 percent from the 2012 census estimate.
