Cherry Creek is a town in Chautauqua County, New York, United States. The population was 1,118 at the 2010 census.[2] The name is derived from that of a small stream that flows through the town amid many cherry trees.

The community was first settled around 1815, and the town of Cherry Creek was formed in 1829 from part of the town of Ellington.
