    According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.10 square miles (5.44 km2), of which, 2.01 square miles (5.21 km2) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 km2) is water.[7]

    As of the census[3] of 2010, there were 434 people, 205 households, and 119 families residing in the village. The population density was 215.9 inhabitants per square mile (83.4/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.7% White, 0.7% Native American, 0.7% Asian, and 0.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.6% of the population.

    There were 205 households of which 20.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.8% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 42.0% were non-families. 36.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
